A prospective member may self-nominate or be nominated by any member of MGG. An applicant for membership in MGG must complete the online application for membership and provide their CV. The application should indicate your willingness to contribute to the Group and indicate which courses you teach. Share why you are interested in joining our graduate group and how you would like to serve (committees, recruitment, QEs, etc).

The Executive Committee will review applications and notify applicants of their decision.

Anticipated contributions may include an active role in the administration of the graduate program by serving on one of the administrative committees; as a graduate adviser (not to be confused with being a major professor); or as an administrative officer of the program. Other contributions may include participation in graduate level instruction, as appropriate, in addition to research instruction or service on dissertation/thesis and qualifying examinations, etc.
